1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of beekio.com and app.beekio.com (the "Service"), operated by Beekio, LLC ("Beekio", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Beekio for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Your account

• Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep it current.
• One person per account. Team access is not yet offered.
• Tell us at support@beekio.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Plans and billing

Free and paid plans

Beekio offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Keeper, Pro, and Scaling). Each plan sets limits, for example on hives, daily AI questions, daily plan runs, photos, and exports. Current limits and prices are shown on the pricing page and in the app. We may change plan features or prices; changes to a paid plan's price take effect at your next renewal after at least 30 days' notice by email.

Payment

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Beekio does not store card numbers.
• Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are added where required by law.
• If a payment fails, we retry. If it keeps failing, your account drops to the Free plan and your data stays intact within Free limits.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancel any time from Settings or the billing portal. You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for; no further charges.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we decide otherwise in a specific case. If something went wrong, write to us; we are reasonable.
• Downgrading below your current usage (for example more hives than the new limit) keeps your data but blocks adding more until you are within the limit.

Beta

During beta we may grant paid features free of charge for a limited time. Beta access can end or change with notice in the app or by email.

4. AI guidance is guidance

Beekio's action plans, hive scores, and chat answers are generated by artificial intelligence from the data you enter. They are informational tools to support your own judgment. They are not veterinary, agricultural, legal, or regulatory advice, and they can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date.

• You decide what to do with your bees. Verify anything critical with a qualified professional or your local beekeeping authority.
• Treatment thresholds, disease indicators, and weather windows are general references and may not fit your region, regulations, or colony.
• Follow the label of any product you use and the laws that apply to you, including notifiable-disease reporting.

Beekio is not responsible for outcomes in your apiary that follow from acting on, or ignoring, AI output.

5. Your content

You own your hive records, logs, notes, photos, and questions ("Your Content"). You grant Beekio a limited licence to store, process, back up, and display Your Content, and to send the parts needed to our AI and other providers, solely to run the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to upload it. Do not upload anything unlawful, or personal data of others without their permission.

You can export your data from the app (on plans that include export) or request a copy from us, and you can delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for retention.

6. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights using the Service.
• Attempt to access other users' data or bypass plan limits, rate limits, or security.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing AI dataset.
• Send spam or automated bulk requests, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Upload malware or content that is abusive, hateful, or sexual.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

7. Beekio's property

The Service, its software, design, text, and trademarks belong to Beekio or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; nothing else is granted. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Beekio available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and things we did not foresee can cause downtime. We may add, change, or remove features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beekio and its officers, employees, and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost colonies, lost honey or income, or lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Beekio in the 12 months before the claim (or 50 USD if you paid nothing).

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they do not, they apply as far as allowed.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Beekio against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms or the law.

12. Termination

You can close your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, legal risk, or non-payment, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. On termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature survive (content licence for backups, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Before starting any formal dispute, contact us at support@beekio.com; most problems are solved with an email. Otherwise, disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their home country.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
